Did the haggling system just get removed from main shops for everybody else too? If this means no more captcha codes as well, I'm not sure if this is a good change. The haggling page slowed down people's ability to buy items. There's the 5 second cooldown, yeah, but at least the haggling page gave you something to do during that time.
Also I'd much rather be able to pay ~55k for an elixir than ~65k.
http://subeta.net/forums.php/read/824740 Yup its for everyone.
SIGH.
Lame.
What the frag is the point of not being able to freaking haggle? What kind of "improvement" is that?
Ugh....
Keith said really few people actually haggled.
Really? People actually typed in the "suggested" price every time? I didn't spend a lot of time on it - after a while you got to be able to gauge how little you could get away with offering - but that seems so strange to me. That's too bad. I don't mind it with the cheaper shops, but when you could knock off a good 10k or so, it was handy. Oh well.
i liked being able to haggle, i thought you had to????
but either way it just caught me off gaurd, but its a cool change, not bothered by it. i cant walk into macys and say....ill give you 50$ for that 55$ perfume. lol
I love the no haggling! I used to HATE restocking so I never did it, now I will do it more often! SO much easier! Thank you!

I've just tried it and it does make things easier BUT -
NPC shop prices are what they were before haggling. I think they should be reduced to what we could buy them for after we'd haggled. I always haggled but as I'm a multi billionaire the extra cost doesn't really affect me. It's going to make things a harder for new players, though, because they don't have the sP to spare.
That's disappointing as I usually got about a 15% discount from haggling which made questing slightly more fun.
It saves a few precious seconds and removes a little more sP from the economy, which is a big discussion at the moment. It's a win win really. :)
I am not at all a fan of the haggle removal. When stuff gets pricey, a 10% lower price makes a big difference.
It's not saving me a few precious seconds. I've had two Pete quests where it was cheaper to restock both items asked for from the main shops. I came up against the one purchase every 5 seconds rule so it took me just as long as well as costing more sP.
I've actually done exactly that at both Macy's and Nordstrom's and gotten the discount.
I LOVE to haggle and am really going to miss the feature. The savings on R79-89 items was often significant and was the deciding factor of where I'd buy.
User shops are getting a lot more of my money because without the haggle, they're cheaper.
UGH!!!!! Subeta is just getting WORSE AND WORSE. I don't give a freaking DAMN that it makes questing slighter faster. I save a crapload of sP by haggling. Who FREAKING CARES if only a few users haggle? ADD IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!
Haha, well it's just a win then. :) sP sinks are a hot topic at the moment and by removing a few hundred sP it's making a dent.
Most items are priced at ~2300sP which I tend to haggle down to 2111sP for ease of typing. This saves you about 200sP. If I buy say... 50,000 items, I'm going to spend an extra 10,000,000sP. That's truly a drop in the ocean. Even if you're buying elixirs at ~60k, you'd still be saving max 9k; 10,000,000sP totals over 1,000 elixirs. If you're restocking in that quantity, that amount of sP isn't really going to bother you.
Whaaaaat? I loved getting to save money, even if it was just a little. Ah, well.
I like that we can quest now more quicker, haggling and capcha codes are time consuming. However, it would be nice when the prices would be fixed to haggled down ones around 15 % lower. :-)

I don't see how it saves time. If an item is, say, 2455sP, then surely it's quicker to type in 24 and select 2400 from the dropdown than it would be to type in 2455 and hope you don't make a typo. (I'm guessing the shops only take the exact prices now?)
